"A Novel Idea?"

I recently read that FoxNews is going to attempt a "Conservative Version of The Daily Show".

Uhhh.... what?!

(rubs forehead, feeling a migraine coming on...)

That sounds as funny as video footage being released on the internet of Dick Cheney doing the Harlem Shake.

Actually, that does sound pretty funny, let me try that again.

Umm... that sounds as funny as someone photoshopping an image of Rick Santorum being fucked by a Donkey with a quote below it that read, "This is funny on so many levels..."

Damn it, that was pretty funny too... hold on, gimme on more try.

That's as funny as finding out that the Logcabin Republicans are changing their name to "The Bath House Republicans".

You gotta admit, that was a good one... (ahem)... moving along!

Okay, I have a couple of little problems with Fox trying to be funny, since it's fuckin' hysterical to Liberals as it is, since, y'know... they're, shall we say, allergic to the truth?

FoxNews is a lot like the Colbert Report, but, without the whole sense of irony.

I haven't seen any of the clips for the show, but from what I've heard so far, it's as funny as watching an episode of Jackass.

I don't care what anyone thinks, that's one of the dumbest fuckin' shows in the history television, and I'm including the 1970's and 80's.

It's gonna be a hard sell for anyone who watches the drivel that'll be on that show, being that it'll be directly slanted one way, as opposed to The Daily Show, which makes fun of things that are ridiculous, Left, Right or Center... they don't discriminate. But the show Fox is planning will only be aimed in one direction, much like all the other programs they already have on that station.

So, when it all comes down to it, what is the point of trying to put a show like that on FoxNews? I thought all the good Jewish writers were busy.... oh, that's right... Fox doesn't hire Jews, does it? Well, surely there'll be a few Black writers... damn, that's right... they don't hire Blacks either, do they?

Really, what's the point?
